Approaching from the Dufourspitze, Grenz Glacier, Lyskamm or Gnifetti Hut. The route is obvious & a straightforward snow plod, so it doesn't need any detailed description. Just follow the well worn track to the summit & the Margherita Hut (spectacular position!).

Not really worth doing as a peak on it's own, except maybe for the incredible views.

I suspect, like us, most people climb it as part of a grand traverse of some, or all, the Monte Rosa peaks (recommended). Also, of course, you need to climb it to stay overnight in the hightest building in Europe (Margherita Hut 4556m).

I'm not entirely sure why, in some guides it gets a PD grade.
