Good, easy to find parking area.

A lovely walk on clear paths with good views of surrounding area. Height means that route finding is straight-forward in all but the poorest weather conditions.

Want to feel alone ?

This is the place. It is way off the beaten track with most people heading for the tops of the nearby Western & Central Beacons.

Afterwards ?

Visit the Red Lion Inn by the Market Hall in the middle of Llandovery. Its a scullery pub with beer served from the jug by the 92 year old landlord. Pub closes at 2pm on Saturdays if the local rugby side are playing at home. A must 'to bag' for the discerning real ale / pub heritage fan.
